Colorado: A $12 Million Castle Facing Mount Evans

Named "Castle V," the stately mansion is inspired by the great Renaissance buildings in the heart of Colorado.

It was while visiting the Biltmore Estate in Asheville that Randall (CEO of an American financial service) and Cynthia Veselka had the inspiration and the desire to build a castle that would meet their desire for excess. To achieve their goals, they first chose the ideal terrain: a 14-hectare wooded area in Evergreen, Jefferson County, 45 minutes from Denver, ideally located to enjoy both a large area of nature while remaining relatively close to the city and its amenities.

This phenomenal project, which took no less than 9 years, was completed in 2015. Named after their last name, Château V has 6 bedrooms with individual bathrooms, but also 8 other full bathrooms, an animal spa but above all a huge outdoor courtyard worthy of the largest castles of the French monarchy.

To decorate and furnish the premises, the architects of the Colorado BVZ no less than 126 chandeliers have been custom-designed, as well as a huge spiral staircase. The purity of the place, reinforced by the white limestone walls and its abundant marble, offers an unparalleled luminosity. The view, overlooking Mount Evans, is also a major asset in the charm of this royal mansion.

On 4 floors, the premises have also been designed to accommodate an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, a cinema room or an entertainment complex. This choice will be up to the future owner of the premises, who will then be able to undertake the necessary work to pilot these new facilities.
