Gucci launches its online festival, GucciFest
From 16 to 22 November, the Italian fashion house will present its new collection in the form of a new digital event.

At Gucci, it's time for innovation. While its artistic director Alessandro Michele announced last spring that it wanted to put an end to the constant turnover of the collections, the Florentine label seems determined to impose its own rhythm and methods of presentation. In July, Gucci unveiled its Epilogue collection through a 12-hour livestream program live from Palazzo Sacchetti, an initiative that generated more than 35 million views.
For this season, place at GucciFest, a digital event spread over a week. On the agenda of this initiative - particularly in the period of confinement - opens of Something that Never Ended, a seven-episode series designed to highlight the new creations of the most sought-after house of recent months.
Under the supervision of Alessandro Michele himself and the American director Gus Van Sant (Will Hunting, Elephant, Last Days...), actress Calderon Silviai will meet several talents and partners of the brand, such as Billie Eilish, Harry Styles or Florence Welch.
While Gucci recently launched #GucciAbsoluteBeginners - a section of short films filmed by its ambassadors and community - GucciFest will also give visibility to the projects of fifteen other international artists.
The GucciFest, the entire programme of which will be specified later this week, will be broadcast on Gucci's official YouTube and Weibo accounts as well as on the dedicated GucciFest.com interface.
