Itinerary
DAY 1: Hapao Rice Terraces and Bogyah Hot Springs
A private van will pick you up and take you to the airport for your 1-hr flight to Cauayan City. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transported to your accommodation by private van so you can enjoy a quick rest before heading to your first stop, the Hapao Rice Terraces.
Considered the longest heritage terraces in Cordillera, you'll enjoy a scenic 45-minute walk across the Hapao Rice Terraces to the Bogyah Hot Spring where you can bask in the spring's natural hot water. These steep terraces are also included in the UNESCO World Heritage and boast a stunning display of amazing human creativity and natural beauty.
DAY 2: Batad Rice Terraces
To really experience the beauty and majesty of the rice fields, we take a leisurely hike through the paradise of Batad and take in the beauty of the steeply terraced valleys from the Viewpoint. Afterward, enjoy a stop at the crème de la crème of Banaue: the iconic Banaue Rice Terraces. Considered to be the Eighth Wonder of the World, these terraces were hand-carved into the mountains by the ancestors of the Ifugao people using just primitive tools. A can't-miss destination in the Philippines you won't regret.
DAY 3: Departure to Bontoc and Sagada
Your day begins with an early morning trip by private van to Bontoc. Head to the best museums and learn about the stories of the Ifugaos of old before heading to Sagada where you'll visit the famous hanging coffins and intriguing caves.
DAY 4: Light Trek to Bomok Ok Falls
Go on a 2-hour light trek through the rice terraces north of Sagada to reach the stunning falls of Bomod ok where you can enjoy a refreshing swim! You'll journey back to Sagada in the mid-afternoon in time to rest by sundown.
DAY 5: Historical Vigan City
After you've had your fill of the natural beauty of Banaue, it's time to get a glimpse of the history of the Philippines in Vigan City. See historic buildings and cobblestone-filled streets teeming with compelling stories reflecting the Spanish colonial era. A UNESCO World Heritage City, it is one of the best-preserved historic cities of the country and boasts significant cultural value globally.
DAY 6: Flight to Manila
Your journey concludes with a comfortable transfer to Laoag airport in an air-conditioned van for your 45-minute flight back to Manila.
